Measuring Trick

Drafting Tools

This was a super quick video I put up to participate in #TipsBlitz19. It is a handy trick to have in your repertoire. This technique allows you to easily divide any length into any number of evenly spaced segments without careful measurement or calculations. This can be useful if you are doing something where you just want a bunch of evenly spaced holes drilled but aren’t really concerned with their actual measurment- for instance, laying out holes for rosette welds.
I mispoke a few times in the video by saying “even number of segments” (which is clearly not what I meant as I went on to demonstrate creating an odd number, 3 in this case, of evenly spaced segments).

Hope you find it useful!
