This week I tackled replacing some parts on the DM2800 milling machine. These are parts that were either missing, broken, or in need of redesign. Although I do a lot of 3-D printing, it is rarely for decorative purposes. Usually, the majority of what I print are things to solve problems around the shop. Specifically, I print things like tool holders, fixtures, and even electronic enclosures. Seemed like there were a few pieces on this machine that a 3D printed alternative would be a good choice.
