Hi. I have a stock Dynamyte 2800 that want to convert with an Acorn. Do you know if stock servo controllers from Advanced motion control works with Acorn? Or do I need to change all servo motors also. Thanks in advanced.
I’m sorry I’m not familiar with them. Acorn itself can pretty much be configured to work with anything that will accept a step and direction signal, or analog voltage for the spindle motor.
However, your description does confuse me a bit. My 2800 uses stepper motors on the x, y, &z axis and originally a brushless DC motor on the spindle. I’m not aware of the 2800 ever using servo motors.
