The Centroid Acorn CNC Retrofit of the Dyna Myte 2800 milling machine is complete. Coincidentally, this is the one year anniversary of this project on YouTube. This week the machine makes its first chips and I look back at what it took to get there.
I start off by covering the last few chores on the punch list. This included finally finishing up the Y-axis motor. Next up I cleaned and mounted the home switches for the X and Y axes.
I finished up by making some chips and sharing before and after photos over the course of the project. Feels great to have the machine running.
